New Home Communities – The Future of Real Estate in Palm Beach County

With a current population of almost 1.5 million and still plenty of land left for development, what will Palm Beach County look like in 5 to 10 years?

According to a study by the University of Florida Bureau of Economics and Business Research that was conducted in April 2019, the population in 2035 for Palm Beach County is projected to be as follows:

  • Low Estimate:  1,507,200
  • Medium Estimate:  1,707,500
  • High Estimate:  1,908,900

With the potential for as many as 400,000 new people living in the County within the next 15 years, there are many concerns including infrastructure (roads, police/fire, schools, etc) as well as housing.

Preston at PGA National – Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

Preston is an individually gated, 200-home single family home neighborhood that is part of the PGA National master planned community  located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.  The neighborhood is located on the south side of PGA National just inside the guard gate off Northlake Boulevard and is intersected by the Arnold Palmer golf course.  

The majority of the homes in Preston were constructed in the late 1980’s to the mid-1990’s and have floor plans ranging from more than 2,000 square feet to more than 4,500 square feet.  A number of homes feature private pools, hurricane shutters or impact resistance glass and whole house generators as underground natural gas lines feed into the community.
